Last week, I had an interesting talk with a mum who asked me two questions:
a) Why am I doing what I do and
b) Are so many children so badly mannered to be sent to a Youth Etiquette Training.
I was very grateful about these question because this gives me the chance to explain what Children´s and Teens Etiquette is about. Obviously, there is a misunderstaning of what a Youth Etiquette Training is about and how this course could be rewarding for the future life of a child/teen outside there, at School, Uni and their Future Career.
WHY DO I DO WHAT I DO ?
The world today needs more kindness, caring, compassion, civility and warmth. As a mompreneur of the Lifestyle & Etiquette Institute of Singapore, I preach/teach/coach People Essential Skills. It´s my vocation, my passion, my mission to help the society to be friendlier, happier, healthier and more civil! At the same time, I am devoted to help people (Adults and Youngsters) regardless of their Socioeconomic Background, lay a solid foundation for ongoing success – from making a good first impression, to having conversations and building relationships that are crucial over one´s entire life. By doing this, you become a Coach, a Teacher, a Trainer and a role model. This is so beautiful to me, it represents who I am inside and what I love to do, Making a Difference!
WHO NEEDS YOUTH ETIQUETTE ?
Youth Etiquette is not just about teaching good manners (by the way this should be brought from home) to badly behaved children or teaching how to navigate with a cutlery. It´s more than that, it´s character education and building confidence, it´s about self-esteem/awareness, it´s leadership skills and developing a sense of strong life and soft skills, bringing all these values, what I call “Your Presence Power”, in harmony. This Training gives today´s Youngsters the competitive advantage in everyday life, at school and in their future career. Children (Ages 5-7/Ages 8-12/Ages 13-17/Millenials) from corporate expat families, diplomats, international private schools, elite local schools, royal families and any other family can benefit from Youth Etiquette Training. These Youngsters are generally happier, balanced, popular and welcomed wherever they go.
So please, Adults, Parents, Educators, give these Youngsters the skills to shine, courteous and delightful, cultured!
