Singapore Fashion Week is around the corner and thousands of people attend fashion week but why do they go there?
Does their job require them to be there or what are they looking for? Each individual has his or her reason:
- meet people in the industry
- have a breeze of what´s going to be available next season
- could be a great exposure for designers, fashion bloggers, any individual (street wear shot) when get put into the photographer´s view and maybe be found on a website
- build up relationships for possible collaboration
- support friends who are designers and designers you work with and have collaboration with
- just having a presence there
Culturally, we have never been more fascinated by the style, aesthetics, personalities and glamour that the industry produces and attracts. Fashion has settled into our consciousness as both entertainment and social Barometer.
May be people just want something that proves who or what they are.
