My heart is full as I write my last blog for this year. It is full of gratitude for all the experiences I’ve had, good and bad, in 2015. It brought me there where I am today and I´ve stayed true to who I am.
The last month of the year, Christmas is not only at the door, It´s the festive and holiday season, Etiquette is all around us in December and everyone seems to be thinking about it, from Christmas parties and Gift giving to Holiday tipping.
Believe it or not, it’s peak season for Engagements as well….No matter what you’re celebrating, it’s always best to remember that at the heart of all the things we worry about such as
- awkward conversations and behaviours
- whether or not someone likes their gift
- how great the food we serve is
- whether the dresscode is occasion- appropriate or not…..
What we’re really hoping for during this season is to have
- a good time with one another and
- just celebrate being together
- reflect on the good and not so good things and
- focus on what is important to improve next year.
So if the stress or worry creeps in, take a deep breath and remember what the Christmas Season is really about.
Also looking back is an important step for moving forward. It´s like getting a report card. The difference? The results are not for studies – they are much bigger – they are for your life!
I hope you feel the joy of the holiday season and will share your blessings with others.
